Archiving and Open Access Policy
Articles published in the AIS3 – Artificial Intelligence Studies in Society, Science and Systems journal are archived via the LOCKSS system to ensure long-term digital preservation and accessibility.
Furthermore, articles published in the journal may be made available by their authors in their universities' institutional repositories, subject-based archives, or other open access archive platforms without any embargo period. This policy ensures that works published in AIS3 are immediately accessible to the public free of charge.
The AIS3 journal transparently announces its archiving policy to the public in line with its open access policy, which supports the dissemination of research results.
Self-Archiving
AIS3 grants authors the following rights:
Authors may publish the final published version of their articles (publisher PDF) on their personal websites and/or institutional repositories.
Articles may be archived in public and/or commercial subject-based repositories without any embargo period.
Archived versions must clearly cite the AIS3 journal in which the article was published and provide a link to the journal's homepage or the article's DOI.
Author Rights and Sharing
Authors may download the PDF version of their articles.
Copies of articles may be shared with colleagues without any embargo.
AIS3 permits the archiving of all versions of the article (the initial submitted version, the version accepted after the peer review process, and the final published version).
